Zurabyan: If united, people can make the authorities resign

The head of HAK parliamentary faction Levon Zurabyan said at the joint rally of three non-coalition parliamentary forces today in Yerevan that it is a wonderful start of the joint struggle.

Addressing the Armenian president, Zurabyan said: “This rally is a response to the appointment of Suren Khachatryan as Syunik governor, crime and plunder by those in power”.

He stressed that the people’s patience is exhausted. “Henceforth to tolerate the regime means to accept Armenia’s destruction. It is time to return power to the real master – the people. There are two ways: either power shall end under pressure of people, or clash with anger of the people. We do not want clashes and we suggest a peaceful transfer of power,” Zurabyan said.

According to him, if united, the people can make authorities resign.
