Rally of ‘trio’ starts in Liberty Square of Yerevan

A nation-wide rally of the trio of non-coalition political forces has started in Yerevan’s Republic Square.

As was reported, on September 25 the trio of parliamentary non-coalition parties – Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Armenian National Congress (HAK) and Heritage Party – staged their first joint protest in the city of Abovian, Kotayk province, ahead of the upcoming joint rally due in Yerevan on October 10. The rally in Abovian was followed by regional trips and rallies of the trio in Hrazdan, Sisian, Kapan, Ararat, Ijevan, Vanadzor and Gyumri.

During the rally in Liberty Square today, the political forces are expected to summarize the 12 point-demands submitted to the authorities by the four non-coalition parliamentary forces. The constitutional reforms will also be discussed.

The leaders of BHK, HAK and Heritage – Gagik Tsarukyan, Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Raffi Hovannisian will participate in today’s rally.
