M. Minasyan: Ter-Petrosyan tries to retain conductor’s baton

The October 10 joint rally of three non-coalition parliamentary parties left an impression that the organizers did not have a common program and ideology and there are disagreements among those parties, the deputy of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) faction Mkrtich Minasyan told reporters today.

According to him, during the rally he did not see any goals or programs – people just gathered to express their concern, while the differences became evident when the speech of Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovannisian was interrupted so that he could come to an agreement with other leaders, and he later did not resume his speech.

“One thing is obvious: by using Gagik Tsarukyan’s electorate, Levon Ter-Petrosyan is trying to retain the conductor’s baton”, Mkrtich Minasyan said, expressing an opinion that Ter-Petrosyan will not succeed in doing it.
