Serzh Sargsyan receives outgoing Chinese ambassador

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received today China’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Tian Changchun who completes his diplomatic mission in Armenia, according to the presidential press service.

The president thanked the Chinese ambassador for his efficient work aimed at strengthening the relations of Armenia and China, stressing that the two countries have intensified cooperation, especially in a number of mutually beneficial spheres, there are more frequent mutual visits at different levels, and progress was registered in trade. Serzh Sargsyan stressed the importance of Ambassador Changchun’s personal contribution.

Ambassador Tian Changchun thanked the president for high appreciation, noting that he was glad to carry out his diplomatic mission in Armenia. He is leaving the country with the best impressions, remaining a friend of the Armenian people and Armenia.
