N. Zohrabyan: Tsarukyan’s speech to become key moment of next rally
“Any issue can be a subject for discussion, including a boycott which is also a political instrument”, the secretary of Prosperous Armenia (BHK) parliamentary faction Naira Zohrabyan said during a briefing today, in response to a question about the possibility of boycotting the four-day sittings of the parliament that start on Monday.
She said she will not speak in advance about initiatives of the trio of non-progovernment parliamentary forces.
According to Naira Zohrabyan, the concept of constitutional reforms was not discussed at the meeting of three non-coalition parliamentary factions since that issue was not included in the agenda.
As regards the further actions of the trio, she said that they intend to advance with “sober, reasonable and balanced steps” and not yield to provocations as they well know the people’s demands.
She also said that the speech of BHK party leader Gagik Tsarukyan will become the key moment of the upcoming rally on October 24. As for a possible meeting of the trio’s leaders – Gagik Tsarukyan, Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Raffi Hovannisian – Naira Zohrabyan said there is still no clarity about this issue.
