R. Hakobyan: Many issues discussed during troika’s meeting

Numerous issues have been discussed at a regular meeting of the three non-governing parliamentary forces today, the head of Heritage parliamentary faction Ruben Hakobyan told reporters following the troika’s meeting.

He declined to give details, noting that the troika continues to work in the same format.

We would remind you that the troika held a regular meeting in the Armenian parliament today to discuss important issues included in their agenda.

As for the possible meeting of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and the leader of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Gagik Tsarukyan, R. Hakobyan said: “Official information would have been released in that case. According to my information, neither President Sargsyan nor Gagik Tsarukyan announced it officially”. He stressed that the sides usually confirm or deny the fact of a meeting.

In response to the remark that the meeting was a secret one, Ruben Hakobyan said: “A lot of events take place behind the scenes. One can conjecture anything, but it may have nothing to do with reality”.

It should be noted that the trio of parties has not made a final decision about their further actions, while the date of the next meeting will be announced tomorrow.
