Armenian sambo wrestler Ashot Danielyan reaches semifinals

Sambo competitions have started at the European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Ashot Danielyan (90kg) defeated Valeri Meleashchevich (Moldova) 4:0 in the quarterfinals.

In the semifinals the Armenian sambo wrestler is to have a bout with Andrey Kazusionak (Belarus).

Tigran Kirakosyan (57kg) was defeated by Aimergen Aktunov (Russia).

In the women’s competitions, Sose Balasanyan was defeated by Anna Kharitonova (Russia).
