NSS director describes situation over structure and his personality as artificial noise
An artificial noise has been raised over the National Security Service and my personality, NSS’ director Artur Vanetsyan told the reporters today.
“I do not know who benefits from it,” he noted.
To the comment of a reporter that there is a conflict between the NSS and State Control Service, Vanetsyan said, “The NSS and SCS have nothing to share.”
As to the fact that the SCS is the only structure having an authority to conduct audit in the NSS, Vanetsyan said, “There is no such thing, the SCS may check only the financial-budget sector of our structure. There is no other sector the SCS has an authority to examine.”
Vanetsyan said that the Office of Attorney General has corresponding authorities and a criminal case may be filed in the Special Investigation Service.
“The NSS is working in a clean, transparent way, with the preservation of all provisions of the law. If there is a case when the NSS starts illegal persecution against any person, on that very day I will be ready to be held accountable before the law and the people,” Vanetsyan said.
He also stressed that no one has right to speak with the NSS by blackmailing or try to scare.
