Russia is Armenia’s number one economic partner: Armenia’s FM
Armenian-Russian bilateral trade turnover has grown by 10% as compared with the past year, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan stated today at the joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
“Russia is Armenia’s Number 1 economic partner with the bilateral trade turnover having registered a growing dynamics. This year we have 10% growth as compared with the past one,” Armenia’s minister said.
Mnatsakanyan said that during the meeting with his Russian counterpart they attached significance to the cooperation in the sidelines of the EAEU, CSTO and CIS.
“The further liberalization of the EAEU is a core issue for us. The enhancement of structure’s international ties with Singapore, Serbia, Iran, China and other countries will give opportunity to establish new quality of cooperation,” Mnatsakanyan said.
He stressed that Armenian-Russian relations are developing in all directions, adding that the two countries are also actively cooperating in different international platforms.
