Smoking in closed public areas hence banned by law

Armenia’s National Assembly approved today the bill banning smoking in all closed public areas, including in all restaurants and cafes.

The bill was backed in the second reading and completely with 76 for, 16 against and 7 abstained votes.

The bill sets fines for smoking in banned areas.
