We need new de jure Constitution: Armenia’s PM
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan speaking at the session of the Constitutional reforms commission said that it is necessary to adopt new de jure Constitution.
“I am a person who does not think that the constitutions should be changed frequently, but I must also say that especially in this period I have come to the conviction that we do not only need to make constitutional changes, but we need to adopt new de jure Constitution,” he said.
Pashinyan stressed that usually constitutional changes are being carried out from political expediency while now it is not a political necessity to make constitutional changes but it is the must for the state to adopt a new Constitution.
