Handing over Artsakh does not mean living good - expert on PM's approach over Artsakh issue

Expert in international affairs Suren Sargsyan referred in his Facebook post to the approach of Armenia’s PM Nikol Pashinyan over Artsakh issue.

The expert believes that Pashinyan has always been convinced that Armenia could not have any future until Nagorno Karabakh issue is settled.

But, according to Sargsyan, the PM does not realize a number of issues.

“He believes that the only variant of the solution of Artsakh issue is handing it over to Azerbaijan. He thinks that “there is Artsakh there is issue, no Artsakh, no issue.” He thinks that if there is no Karabakh issue peace will be established in the region, Armenian-Turkish and Armenian-Azerbaijani borders will open and we will become Switzerland. He seriously believes in it. There is no realization that

1. Artsakh issue has not been settled,
2. The opinion that peace will be established in the region with the defeat of Armenians is wrong.
3. The hopes that the region will blossom are wrong.
4. The complicated situation in the region is not agreed with only Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
5. It is agreed with the Turkish-Russian confrontation, the USA/Israel-Iran confrontation, complicated Russian-Georgian relations, etc., etc.
6. Turkish-Armenian reconciliation or the regulation of relations is not the issue of visible future.
7. Armenian-Azerbaijan reconciliation or regulation of relation is issue of invisible future. They are convinced that one day Armenians will try to bring back Artsakh. Naturally, they will continue consider us enemy.

If you think you handed over Artsakh to live good, you are terribly mistaken,” Sargsyan wrote.
