Robert Amsterdam: Armenian Authorities distort my Words on EU support

International lawyer Robert Amsterdam has stated that representatives of the Armenian authorities are once again attempting to misrepresent his statements, suggesting he is calling on the EU to halt support for “the reforms of the Republic of Armenia.”

“The money is not for the people, but for your party. There is an extremely high price to be paid for imprisoning innocent clergy and attacking the children of Christ,” Amsterdam said.

Yesterday Amsterdam announced that the EU should immediately suspend its financial support to the Armenian government and initiate urgent consultations to halt the illegal actions of the Armenian authorities.
