To schieve a change of power, a coordinated struggle against “nikolism” is necessary; internal opposition ‘shootings’ must be frozen – Eduard Sharmazanov

The primary objective for 2026 should not be a change of the opposition, but a change of government, said Eduard Sharmazanov, a member of the Supreme Body of the Republican Party of Armenia and former Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly.

“If we truly want to achieve a change of government, we must stop escalating and instead halt internal opposition conflicts.

To achieve the main goal – a change of government – a systematic struggle against ‘nikolism’ is necessary. Only under these conditions is it possible to rid ourselves of ‘nikolism.’

I call on all of us to focus on achieving a change of government in 2026 and to freeze the internal opposition ‘shootings.’
