Samvel Karapetyan, Gagik Tsarukyan, Levon Kocharyan, Sirusho: who responded to the call to support Artsakh residents in difficult social conditions

Nzhdeh Iskandaryan, founder of the “Artsakh in My Heart” social-charity foundation, announced at a press conference today the individuals and organizations that responded to his appeal for urgent support for Artsakh residents facing difficult social conditions.

He noted that Samvel Karapetyan provided financial assistance to the families of those killed or missing in the 2023 explosion at the Haykazov fuel and lubricants warehouse, as well as to civilians killed during the Azerbaijani aggression on September 19-20, 2023. In total, 260 families received 50,000 drams each.

Iskandaryan noted that Gagik Tsarukyan donated 3 million drams to the fund, while Levon Kocharyan contributed 2 million drams, with an agreement for regular support. Sirusho also responded to the appeal, transferring 1 million drams.

Artsakhbank provided 1.6 million drams in support, and Ardshinbank made contributions to three students.

“One of our compatriots, Iskandar Iskandaryan, living in Russia, transferred 484,000 drams. Another Artsakh resident, who wished to remain anonymous, personally met with 20 families and provided financial aid. Additionally, another anonymous donor contributed $2,200 toward tuition fees for families affected by the explosion,” said the Artsakh State Minister, expressing gratitude to all supporters.
