The Armenian government approves the proposal to sign the Board of Peace Charter

The Government of Armenia has approved a proposal to sign the Charter of the Board of Peace.

The corresponding decision was signed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has been instructed to oversee the organization of the charter’s signing.

To note, Nikol Pashinyan has departed for the Swiss Confederation on a working visit. At the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump, he will participate as a founding member in the official signing ceremony of the Board of Peace Charter in Davos, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum.

According to the New York Times, Trump is inviting countries to join for more than a three-year period if they pay more than $1 billion in the first year.
