We have no problem discussing any issue on international platforms, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in a conversation with reporters, referring to discussions in Strasbourg where the church-state situation in Armenia was addressed.

“Our practices are transparent, clear, and justified,” he stated. According to Pashinyan, there is no church-state conflict; instead, there is “a person who has usurped power in the Church.”

“He cannot remain in that position under any circumstances. We will take all possible legal and permissible measures to remove him from a post he is not worthy of,” Pashinyan, who has targeted the Church, said.
