Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will attend the 2026 Sheikh Zayed Foundation For Human Fraternity Award ceremony on February 4, his spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan told Aysor.am.
Earlier, the Armenian government reported that the Zayed Prize for Human Fraternity Committee highly appreciated the Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan. As a result, Prime Minister Pashinyan will be awarded the prize at the ceremony in Abu Dhabi in February.
The Zayed Prize for Human Fraternity has announced its 2026 laureates, noting that the jury highly values the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace agreement as a process promoting peace, dialogue, normalization of interstate relations, and conflict resolution between the two countries.
The Zayed Award for Human Fraternity is an international prize established in 2019 in the United Arab Emirates at the initiative of leaders of the Catholic and Islamic worlds. It is named after the founding leader of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
