Archbishop Mikael underwent another surgery

The Primate of the Shirak Diocese, Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan, underwent another surgery this morning, his lawyers informed Aysor.am.

Earlier, it was reported that the Archbishop was in the post-operative phase, undergoing additional examinations in preparation for a second surgery.

The Archbishop remains at the “Izmirlyan” Medical Center, despite a court decision replacing his preventive detention with house arrest and a ban on leaving his residence.
