Russia’s nuclear projects are cheaper and better than those of the US: Peskov on Yerevan and Washington’s nuclear projects

Russia’s experience in the nuclear sector surpasses that of the United States, and its services come at a lower cost, Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian president, said while commenting on the nuclear projects of Yerevan and Washington.

“As for cooperation between Armenia and the United States in the field of nuclear energy, there are legacy Soviet facilities involved, which, of course, are originally Soviet and Russian projects. In this context, Russia undoubtedly possesses greater expertise and higher competitiveness. As one of the most advanced countries in this sector, Russia is capable of meeting the highest levels of international competition, should such competition be required by its partners. In other words, Russia can deliver superior quality in the coming years at a lower cost,” the Kremlin spokesman noted.
