The First President has assumed the role of a political patriarch seeking to unite the opposition – Levon Zurabyan
ANC prime ministerial candidate Levon Zurabyan wrote:
“The First President is acting from a supra-partisan position. As the founder of the Third Republic, Levon Ter-Petrosyan has assumed the role of a political patriarch, seeking to ensure the unification of the opposition in order to remove Nikol Pashinyan from power.
If this effort succeeds, we will only welcome it, because opposition unity is a crucial prerequisite for addressing the serious challenges facing the republic. At the same time, we understand that this mission may not succeed. In that case, the Armenian National Congress has its own clear message and agenda.
If the First President’s efforts are crowned with success, we will join forces in the struggle. If not, we will continue our fight regardless, as we have our own vision of how Armenia should be governed in the future and how to lead the country out of the current situation.”
