Iran’s attack on Nakhichevan will not go unanswered: Azerbaijani Defense Ministry

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has issued a statement regarding the Iranian drone strikes in Nakhichevan.

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry stated that it strongly condemns the attacks on civilian infrastructure by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran without any military necessity.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran bears full responsibility for this incident. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry is preparing the necessary response measures to protect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country, as well as to ensure the security of the civilian population and civilian infrastructure. These attacks will not go unanswered,” the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry noted.
