Medical Center directors threaten healthcare workers, says Anush Poghosyan

Medical center directors are summoning healthcare workers to consultations and issuing threats, according to Anush Poghosyan, president of the “Right to Health” NGO, who spoke on Facebook Live.

“They claim this is the state of healthcare, cite the fund’s compensations and official orders, and tell staff: if you think you shouldn’t work, submit your resignation and leave. If you choose to stay, then make sure there are no complaints, no social media posts – just sit quietly and work,” Poghosyan said.

Addressing all medical center directors, she added: “You do not have the authority to decide where healthcare workers can raise complaints – whether in court, with inspection bodies, or on social media – and you should not threaten staff in this manner.”
