India’s FM thanks Armenia for helping evacuate 550 Indian citizens

Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar has thanked the Armenian people and government for facilitating the safe evacuation of his country’s citizens from Iran.

He wrote on his microblog X: “[I] Thank the Government and the people of Armenia for facilitating the safe evacuation of over 550 Indian nationals from Iran so far. Appreciate their support in these challenging times,” Jaishankar wrote on X.

It should be noted that citizens of several countries have been evacuated from neighboring Iran, which is currently at war, through Armenia.
