We have quite dynamic and promising dialogue with Turkey: Ararat Mirzoyan

We currently have a dynamic, positive, and promising dialogue with Turkey, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated during a session of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Relations.

“There is concrete work being carried out on the ground. Discussions have taken place regarding the possible resumption of the Gyumri-Kars railway and road connections. A joint working group has been established, and it has already held two meetings. The group has visited the relevant infrastructure sites on both sides to assess their current condition. Even in the cultural sphere, discussions are underway. The legal frameworks are being clarified as we try to understand possible mechanisms – for example, the prospect of jointly restoring Ani or the historic bridge.

The possibility of establishing scholarship programs for students at universities in both countries is also being discussed,” Mirzoyan said.
