The war party of Kocharyan-Karapetyan-Tsarukyan has embraced the thesis that the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan is somehow undignified, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced live on air.

He emphasized that all previous invasions of the region, which targeted the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, were driven not by a desire for peace, but by conflict and war.

According to Pashinyan, it is thanks to the peace agenda and the peace process that the sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia has been recognized.

Addressing the situation of Armenian prisoners of war held in Azerbaijan, Nikol Pashinyan stated that they were captured not for the sake of peace, but as a result of conflict.

“The continuation of the conflict drastically reduces the chances of their release, if not making it entirely impossible, whereas peace multiplies these chances, if not outright guarantees their release,” Pashinyan affirmed.

He added that today, the parents of the soldiers sleep peacefully at night – a reality the oppositionists find undignified.

“The only thing that matters to them is having the opportunity to sleep peacefully themselves,” he concluded.
