Vardanyan explained why she believes the government hesitates: “They are leaving room to maneuver – going to Brussels to seek support by highlighting a threat from Russia, and then going to Russia to seek support, claiming that these statements are not directed against them. There is no principle in any of this – only deception. They avoid any specificity, even though they know it will provoke a reaction,” she said.
