18-year-old Davit transferred to hospital

Davit Minasyan has been transferred to Nairi Medical Center, his lawyer Lusine Martirosyan reported a short while ago.

Earlier today, the lawyer stated that Davit’s condition had worsened again. “He is now in Abovyan Penitentiary,” she wrote.

18-year-old Davit Minasyan had previously been transferred from the “Armavir” penitentiary to the “Abovyan” penitentiary. The Penitentiary Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Justice told Aysor.am that the decision was made in his best interests.

“The transfer was carried out taking into account the individual’s best interests, his age, and the importance of ensuring continuity of secondary education,” said Nona Navikyan, spokesperson for the Penitentiary Service told Aysor.am.
