If you had followed Samvel Karapetyan’s call and ended the war a day earlier, 3,500 lives could have been saved – Narek Karapetyan
The Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff is questioning why Samvel Karapetyan had called on the sides to resolve the outcome of the 44-day war through negotiations, wrote Narek Karapetyan, a board member of the “Strong Armenia” party, on his Facebook page.
“If you had followed Samvel Karapetyan’s call and ended the war even a day earlier, 3,500 Armenian lives could have been saved.
Had you not been so self-confident and short-sighted, the war might have ended sooner, and Hadrut, Shushi, Lachin, and Karvachar could have been preserved under known conditions.
Today, he continues to warn about the looming risk of an economic confrontation with Russia –one whose consequences will be borne by every Armenian citizen, rather than by Nikol Pashinyan personally,” he wrote.
