One of Samvel Karapetyan’s programs established a state-of-the-art center of excellence at the Polytechnic

One of the most significant educational initiatives implemented by Samvel Karapetyan is the establishment of state-of-the-art centers of excellence at the National Polytechnic University of Armenia. These were launched in 2017 in partnership with the French company Schneider Electric, and in 2018 in cooperation with Cascade Holding.

These platforms provide young scientists and students with the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technologies in the fields of energy and automation.

The centers are equipped with high- and medium-voltage electricity distribution laboratories, featuring modern automation equipment valued at between $1,000 and $35,000.

This initiative serves as a strong example of building a direct link between education and real-sector production.

The scholarship system is also a key component of the program. Samvel Karapetyan and the Karapetyan family have provided high-performing students with monthly scholarships of up to 250,000 drams.

The objective of this investment is to foster a new generation of professionals, many of whom are already working within Armenia’s energy sector, contributing to the country’s energy security.
