Kirants schoolchildren attend classes 50 meters from Azerbaijan and play football 30 meters away - this is peace - Nikol Pashinyan

Peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan has now been established on a solid legal foundation, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during the discussion of the report on the implementation and results of the Government Program.

“Peace carries binding legal force. In this context, I am referring to the regulations governing the joint activities of the border demarcation commissions,” he said.

According to Pashinyan, the proximity of the school in Kirants to the Azerbaijani border no longer raises alarm among students.

“Today, students attend classes just 50 meters from Azerbaijan and play football only 30 meters away – this is peace,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
