I will call my colleagues every week on the Ajapnyak metro issue to push progress – Avinyan

The Ajapnyak metro station is the Yerevan Municipality’s top priority and its most important program, Mayor Tigran Avinyan said during a municipal work session.

He instructed that updates on the metro station construction project be the first item reported in the hall on a weekly basis.

“This means that from now on, the first issue to be reported here every week will concern the processes related to the construction of the Ajapnyak metro station. It also means that I will personally call my colleagues weekly, send reminders, follow up persistently on this issue – I will do it.

I expect weekly reports on the work carried out so that this program moves one step, two steps, three steps, four steps forward. This will become the norm until we begin actual construction,” Avinyan said.
