Armenia politically and technically ready to open border with Turkey; decision now lies with Ankara – Deputy Foreign Minister

Armenia is politically and technically ready to open the border with Turkey, and the decision should now be made by Ankara, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan told Turkish media.

“All the necessary infrastructure has been created for the opening,” he added.

It should be recalled that Kostanyan recently participated in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

He noted that the process of normalizing relations between the two countries has made significant progress and has expanded beyond contacts at the level of foreign ministries.

According to him, the dialogue is also developing at the level of leaders and across various ministries, indicating a transition to a broader format of cooperation.
