Anti-Corruption Committee confirms arrest of Artur Avanesyan

The Anti-Corruption Committee has confirmed the arrest of intelligence officer Artur Avanesyan, a teammate of Samvel Karapetyan. Committee spokesperson Marina Ohanjanyan told Aysor.am that additional information will be provided if necessary.

It should be noted that, according to Channel 5, the Anti-Corruption Committee has detained Samvel Karapetyan’s teammate, intelligence officer Artur Avanesyan.

According to the same publication, it is assumed that Avanesyan’s arrest is connected to recent detentions of individuals linked to Karapetyan and may relate to alleged violations in electoral processes.
