Forces that fail to recognize that classical electoral processes are not taking place have no chance of success

The pressure and coercive measures employed by the authorities against forces participating in the electoral process are characteristic of an authoritarian system, wrote NA deputy Tigran Abrahamyan.

According to him, any force that does not acknowledge the absence of genuine electoral processes in the country stands no chance of succeeding.

“Success does not lie in making excuses, adapting to lowered rules of the game, or waiting for the authorities’ next move from the position of a ‘victim,’ but in demonstrating the will and consistency to seize the initiative and advance through unconventional steps,” he wrote.
