Law enforcement officers conduct searches in the Avan office of the “Strong Armenia” party; several citizens detained

Law enforcement officers carried out searches at the Avan office of the “Strong Armenia” party, with several citizens detained in the process. This was reported to Aysor.am by Gohar Meloyan, a representative of the party. She did not provide further details, noting that additional information would be released later.

A few days earlier, the Anti-Corruption Committee arrested and later charged Artur Avanesyan, known as Kandaz, head of the security team of the opposition “Strong Armenia” party and a participant in the Artsakh wars. He was detained for two months.

Three other citizens were also detained alongside Avanesyan.

The Anti-Corruption Committee had previously published a recording allegedly connected to the individuals involved.
