Macron to visit Gyumri on May 5 and attend concert

French President Emmanuel Macron is expected to visit Gyumri on May 5 as part of a state visit and take part in a major concert, according to information presented at today’s government session.

The government plans to allocate about 393 million drams (over one million USD) for the organization of the event.

A large concert dedicated to Armenia-France friendship and the deepening of cultural cooperation is scheduled to take place on May 5 at Gyumri’s Vardanants Square.

The program, titled “Musical Bridge,” will feature Armenian and French musical works performed by well-known artists from both countries, accompanied by the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia.
