“Are our citizens ‘okay’ with Aliyev reprimanding people who are talking about Armenian POWs?” — Hayk Mamijanyan

Nikol Pashinyan is doing everything possible to present the 8th European Political Community summit as part of his campaign, Hayk Mamijanyan, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia, said in a conversation with reporters.

“Some of his European patrons are also supporting this. We have gathered to prevent it,” Mamijanyan stated.

He added that in the past, Ilham Aliyev had given instructions to Pashinyan by phone.

“Today, they connected Aliyev to Yerevan via videoconference, and he was reprimanding people who speak about the rights of our prisoners of war, the Armenians of Artsakh. I have a question for our citizens – are they ‘okay’ with this? Is there anyone in Armenia who considers it normal for Aliyev to give instructions via videoconference?” Hayk Mamijanyan said, adding that he, his colleagues, and many others are not “okay” with it.
