Armenia will not suddenly leave the EAEU – Nikol Pashinyan

Armenia will not suddenly leave the EAEU, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in a conversation with reporters.

“If or when we leave the EAEU, we will do so in a planned manner,” he noted.

According to Pashinyan, the authorities are not planning to take any sudden steps. “Our commitments and goals are transparent,” he assured.

Commenting on Vladimir Putin’s statement that Armenia could turn into a new Ukraine, Moldova, or Georgia, Pashinyan said such a comparison was inappropriate.

“I have great respect for both Russia and Ukraine, as well as Georgia and Moldova. I cannot allow Armenia to be compared in such a way, or for the names of those countries to be used as a negative criterion, because they are wonderful countries and friendly nations to Armenia,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
