The strongest hammer for this government is the Criminal Code – Arsen Babayan (Video)

The AntiCor anti-corruption platform conducted a month-long study, during which experts recorded serious issues related to systemic corruption, said lawyer Arsen Babayan during the workshop “Corruption in the Pre-Election Phase.”

According to him, although the official pre-election campaign has only been underway for eight days, campaigning had effectively begun even before that.

“Criminal proceedings continue to serve as a means of demonstrating corruption. The strongest hammer for this government has become the Criminal Code. About 45 percent of people with opposition views have, at various times, at least held the status of an accused person,” said Arsen Babayan.
