Gagik Tsarukyan’s words “I will not drop my class” were considered the most popular expression of the past week – Iveta Tonoyan

“It is unacceptable for us to shift criticism toward family members,” said Iveta Tonoyan, the spokesperson for the leader of the Prosperous Armenia (PAP), during today’s press conference summarizing the first week of the pre-election campaign.

“According to one of the polls, Gagik Tsarukyan’s phrase ‘I will not drop my class’ was recognized as the most popular expression of the past week. We will not enter into discussions using that kind of lexicon. However, this does not mean our vocabulary is lacking – it is simply that our value system and the path we have chosen do not allow it,” she noted.

The spokesperson for the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party also stated that Gagik Tsarukyan is proceeding with the principle that there is no need to throw mud at political opponents, but if they are insulted, there will be an adequate response.
