We talk about life and development, they talk about death – Narek Karapetyan

The government always talks about death and constantly brings death, Narek Karapetyan, a board member of the Strong Armenia Party, said during a campaign event in the Aragatsavan community, responding to remarks made by Defense Minister Suren Papikyan.

“They bring only negative energy to our country; they bring bloodshed to our country. The thousands of victims are evidence of this. In Vanadzor, where Papikyan was asking why we did not die, Samvel Karapetyan built the largest maternity hospital in Lori Province and donated it to the community,” he said.

Narek Karapetyan insisted that their political force speaks about life, agriculture, and the country’s development, while the government speaks about death and victims.

“After they leave, the ‘Yerablurs”  in our country will not increase; instead, our orchards and gardens will grow, and our compatriots will not have to leave the country to work abroad,” the opposition representative added.

Defense Minister Suren Papikyan, addressing Samvel Karapetyan, had said: “You had six sons in your family – why weren’t they killed or injured?”
