What was offered to Samvel Karapetyan in prison? Details (Video)

Leader of the “Strong Armenia” political force Samvel Karapetyan stated that both before his arrest and during his detention he was allegedly offered various arrangements in exchange for abandoning his position on the protection of the Church.

During a meeting with editors of Armenian media outlets, Karapetyan said that at the time when his residence was “attacked by a thousand people,” he was approached at a high level with a proposal to “go for coffee somewhere” and publicly declare that he would stop defending the Church.

“After that, both the ENA and everything were returned. I did not accept the offer, and we moved on,” he noted. 

According to Karapetyan, similar proposals were also conveyed to him in prison through his friends in Moscow.
