Our cooperation is not limited to TRIPP alone – Marco Rubio

The comprehensive strategic relationship between Armenia and the United States is stronger today than ever, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said after signing joint documents with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Yerevan.

“It would not be an exaggeration to say that we have entered a historically unprecedented stage,” Mirzoyan stated.

He noted that all the agreements are beneficial for Armenia and will create unprecedented opportunities for the country.

Marco Rubio, in his turn, stated that the signed agreement is one of the biggest steps toward making this historic path a reality. He added that it is a path to peace and prosperity for Armenia and the region. U.S. Secretary of State noted that Armenia-US cooperation is not limited to TRIPP alone and that the two countries continue to expand cooperation in various directions.

Rubio added that fundamental work is being carried out that will serve as a basis for Armenians and Americans to work together more closely.
