If Pashinyan says Armenia will “get rich,” let him ensure it – Sergey Lavrov

If Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan believes that the country will “get rich” despite the deterioration of relations with Russia, then he should make it happen, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

“I cannot comment on the statements of the Armenian leader. If he believes that the country will get rich, let him ensure it,” Lavrov said.

During the campaign in Garni, Pashinyan stated that the Armenian authorities are not concerned about potential price increases in the event of worsening relations with Russia, as they expect to make Armenia prosperous by turning it into a “crossroads of the world.”
