More than two dozen addresses searched in Armavir region – Hetq

According to Hetq, police officers and investigators from the Investigative Committee launched large-scale search operations in Armenia’s Armavir region early on the morning of June 2, 2026.

The outlet, citing its sources, reported that law enforcement authorities are searching for weapons and ammunition.

Narek Sargsyan, spokesperson for the Minister of Internal Affairs, did not disclose further details about the operation. He confirmed, however, that officers of the Criminal Police, together with investigators, are conducting searches at more than two dozen addresses in the region.
