Armenia would be making a mistake by relying exclusively on Western support, Naryshkin says

Armenia’s leadership would be making a mistake if it were to rely solely on support from the West, Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin said in comments to TASS.

“If the Armenian leadership focuses exclusively on assistance or support from the West, then, of course, it would be acting wrongly. In that case, the situation inside the country would become more complicated, and additional obstacles and difficulties would arise for the country’s economic development. However, I still hope that the Armenian leadership will act wisely,” Naryshkin said.
