Rubinyan says he has appetite for kebabs and shawarma and not the position of NA speaker
We are the owners of the votes we received, we received more votes than in 2021; this is sufficient to form a single-party government, said Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan in a conversation with reporters.
“We do not want the elections to be annulled, because the votes we received are legitimate and we will form a government,” Rubinyan said.
He noted that the parliament would be very satisfied if opposition MPs refused their mandates.
“Finally, we will not have to spend five years with people who came here solely to defend their illegally acquired property or to protect their leadership, which is about to be tried.”
Regarding the distribution of positions, Rubinyan said that the issue of “fates” has not yet been discussed.
“We have not discussed it yet, to be honest, I myself have not thought about it yet,” Rubinyan said in response to a question about whether he intends to remain in the legislature or move to the executive branch.
Responding to a remark that he has the speaker of parliament appetite , Rubinyan said:
“I only have an appetite for kebabs and shawarma, and that exclusively in the literal sense of the word, not in the sense implied by the Kaluga oligarch.”
