CEC gives consent to indict Narek Karapetyan (Video)

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has given its consent to indict Narek Karapetyan, lawyer Aram Vardevanyan told reporters.

“This does not constitute the deprivation of immunity; this concerns consent to indictment,” Vardevanyan said.

As for deprivation of liberty, Vardevanyan said that the CEC must give its consent to that as well.

The CEC will resume its session at 3:30 p.m.
