Contractual serviceman wounded in Tavush by Azerbaijani fire
Saro Sharian, a resident of the border village of Nerkin Karmiraghbyur in Tavush province of Armenia, was wounded today by Azerbaijani fire. He is a contractual serviceman. The village administrator Manvel Kamendatian confirmed the information during a talk with Aysor.am.
“He is a contractual serviceman and lives in our village. The incident took place on a frontline position. Thank God, everything turned out well. He was wounded in the shoulder and is being transported to Yerevan to be treated,” the village administrator said.
According to him, shots fired at their village from the Azerbaijani side have become less frequent in recent months.
